GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) is an academically / subject-based qualification. Students in England and Wales study towards this over a 2 year period. Year 10 and 11. The idea of a GCSE qualification is to give you a broad general knowledge. From where you can then become specialised in your A-levels. However, making sure you choose a wide range of subjects, not only provide you with further options but also exposes you to subject matter you may not yet have an interest in.

It is, therefore, a very important exam in anyone’s life. Not only can it affect which Sixth Form your child would be able to join. It can also affect which A-levels they will be able to take.

Therefore it may also influence their further studies and career choices. By choosing wisely and performing to your full potential, your GCSE results can be very beneficial in future decisions.

In this Category Archive, we, therefore, aim at providing you with as much information possible to support you in making the best decisions for your future.

We hope to take the anxiety out of preparing for this very important GCSE qualification by providing relevant and up to date resources. Make sure to keep an eye on the site as to not miss out on any of this. Preparing for a GCSE qualification should not be a stressful experience.
